SaMoter and Asphaltica, trade fairs dedicated to construction machinery and the bitumen supply chain, have been postponed to 3 - 7 March 2021; the decision was taken by VeronaFiere, stakeholders and associations Unacea and SITEB.

Giovanni Mantovani, director of VeronaFiere, said that the event has been postponed due to the continuing uncertainty scenario Covid-19, with respect for exhibitors, visitors and more in the round those who will take part in the most important Italian trade fair in the building and construction sector. However, the two fairs will be the first in 2021 to be dedicated to the world of construction in Europe, so as to ensure support and greater representativeness by the major international groups and sponsors.

Marco Risi, Unacea president, agrees with the director of VeronaFiere and considers it strategic and optimal to move the trade fair event to the beginning of 2021, just like Michele Turrini, president of the SITEB Association in which he states: "We are sure that the postponement of the SaMoTer and Asphaltica trade fairs to March 2021 will allow us to organize an even more effective and visible edition at an international level".
